Description

This bracelet is composed of six carved ivory plaques in four graduated sizes. The plaques are set on a pair of elastic strings with round beads separating each plaque (only three beads remain). The center plaque depicts three leaping deer within a frame pierced folate designs, surrounded by carved oak leaves.. The next largest pair of plaques depict standing deer within similar frames. The next three plaques are only the pierced foliate carving within leafy frames. The strings connecting the plaques were broken and restrung in 2015.
