Wooden drum (made of staves held together by two iron bands) supported on its side by parallel bracket feet; rectangular trough with slanted lip at top; inside x-shaped turning mechanism attached to crank in centre of drum; screw-in adjustable iron clamp; rectangular lid of mortised planks with strip nailed to outside (handle?) with hole in centre and carved out circle for pouring milk
