Label

"Mementos: Jewelry of Life and Love from Historic New England": Briolette-cut (faceted teardrop) amethysts are suspended from large natural pearls in this pair of earrings made by New York City jewelers Black, Starr & Frost. Lavender was an acceptable color for the final three months of mourning, so amethysts and pearls were the perfect complement to Sara Norton's attire.
