Description

Gold ring with floral engraving on shoulders, center features three concentric white and black enameled circles each with a diamond set in silver. Based on the inscription and provenance, this may be the engagement ring for the donor's aunt, Elizabeth Olivia Lane. She married Grenville Stevens in 1843. The ring descended from Elizabeth to her sister's daughter Laura (Norcross) Marrs along with several other pieces.
