Gold locket designed as a bulla decorated with gold wire and granulation and set with Roman micromosaics of a woman with blue ribbons in her hair on one side and on the reverse two kissing doves holding a spray of flowers, locket contains a circular miniature painting on ivory of a portrait of Joseph Peabody (1824-1905), husband of the original owner, Anna Pingree Peabody.
