This choker-style necklace is comprised of two strands of faux pearls suspended from silver spacer bars at each end of the strands. Each bar is set with four round colorless pastes on one side and a stamped leaf design on the reverse. The necklace closes with a hook and pearl extender chain.

"Mementos: Jewelry of Life and Love from Historic New England": By the early twentieth century dozens of companies were experimenting with imitation pearl recipes, from glass to early plastics. Theodora Kuhne wore two strands of faux pearls when she walked down the aisle with Albert Lawton in 1951.
