Description

This gold watch consists of a gold face with an engraved image and an elaborately enameled case. The face depicts a shoreline with two large buildings or chateaux, their images reflected in the water below. There are two boats on the water and the near shoreline has treets and bushes visible. The hours are depicted in Roman numerals inside an embossed line and under a clear crystal. The case is elaborately engraved and enameled in repeating and intricately intertwined floral scrolls enameled in a deep blue. The top of the case has a thumb lock and ring for suspension on a chain.
