Description

Pair of wool knitted stockings, cream-colored. top of stocking is knitted in stockinette stitch (for approximately 8"), then worked in a decorative stitch resembling a shell (pattern is repeated 9x). It appears that pieces were stitched together at toe and heel. One stocking has a mistake at top rolled edge in two places (1 1/2" each) . Looks like knitter mistakenly worked on the wrong side.
