Daguerreotype of a seated girl with long curls wearing a silk dress and a large bead necklace with a cross pendant. Set in a gilt metal matting with a scroll border with glass cover, all set in a leather covered case with a red silk lining, front and back of case features sprays of flowers in relief within a scrolled frames.
