Description

Overmantel panel, originally set into paneling above a corner fireplace. Square panel with two large trees, a hunter in a long red coat and blue hat, standing beneath a tree on the far right, shooting at a running stag, at the far left; hounds chase a stag, one is attacking the injured animal. Several large birds fly above the trees. The artist is unknown.
