Description

Set of William & Mary-style brass escutcheons and drop handles, including: 1 keyhole escutcheon, 3 pull plates, 2 small & 1 large teardrop pulls, and 1 cotter pin. The plates are etched with characteristic stylized leaf and circle decoration; originally from a larger set per attached tag. Height of objects range from 1 5/8 to 2 3/8 and have widths of 1/2 to 2 3/4. [see folder for traced designs of the objects]

On a handwritten tag that was attached, reads on one side: Set of Brass teardrop pulls with/stamped brass escutcheons/ca.1700/12 pulls with escutcheons/4 keyhole escutcheons"" . On the other side: ""From Oliver Williams auction - July 26, 1966""/""Bacon"" (in hand that matches the other side).
