Description

Globe-shaped coconut box with slightly domed circular lid with a turned ebony knop on a bulbous round body raised on a turned ebony shaft and domed coconut base. The lid, body and base are densly carved with animal figures in round or lunette shaped reserves, enclosed by varriously patterned borders including: flowerheads, gadrooning, and flutting.
