Description

The body has a deep "U" shaped front, with a flat back and hinged slant cover and scrolled handle. It is all painted in red and decorated with gold and black striping and gold foliate devices over an arched bannerette with foliate ends inscribed "Ceylon" in black. And a gold and black edged octagonal reserve below.
