Of cylindrical form with a flared rolled foot and a large triangular spout with hinged cover. It has a circular, slightly domed cover and a tapering wide strap handle with thumb reset. The side is set with a rectangular strip of four panes of uncolored glass held in a tin frame. It is all painted red and decorated with gold and black striping and gold foliate devices at the spout cover and handle.
