Carved, painted and nail constructed wooden decoy representing a "loomer" goose. It has wooden slats composing body and tail, carved breast, neck and head. The goose has a brown and black back and a white breast. The beak and head are delicately carved. The interior construction is very solid with cross bar support. The head is in two sections. A large makers stamp is under the tail.

On orange masking tape in blue ballpoint on the duck's base is: A.E. Crowell/E. Harwich, Ma. On a jelly label with blue ballpoint, also on the base is: Loomer/Goose by/Crowell/21 . Stamped under the tail is: A. ELMER CROWELL/DECOYS/EAST HARWICH.MA.
