An oak tea kettle trivet, of sleigh-like form. Its center panel is resting on three crossbar dowels, the middle bar extends to a handle that adjusts the tilting mechanism below- this is inbetween two V-tailed sides with one side inscribed. The front top of the trivet has protruding horn-like wooden prongs to support the kettle around the spout, while tipping.
