Inscription

The bills are dated August 20, 1832, and August 21, 1832. The printed text includes basic information along the top- see file folder for a diagram of the waybill. Handwritten on the back of each bill, in iron gall ink is: Via Jaffrey/Way Bill/. By T.J. Fox/August 21-1832. Also: via Jaffrey/Way Bill By Hodskins . One bill has Keene & Boston crossed out and reversed in handwriting, for the return trip.
