Description

Bodice- Brown silk faille; band collar covered in velvet; edged with white lace ruffle with pale green satin rosette concealing hooks and eye; wide collar of cream lace and brown velvet and green satin rosettes at shoulder; lace collar and waist appliqued with cream roses with green leaves; brown velvet leg-o-mutton sleeves with cream lace cuffs with green satin rosettes, brown velvet streamers with green satin lining at center back; brown silk lining; bored darts and seams; white grosgrain inner belt. Skirt- Brown silk faille; black silk waistband; hook and eye closure center back; slight train; 3 bands of velvet above hem; appliqued scalloped ruffle above hem; Brown silk lining; band of black horsehair (?) above hem; interior ties of silk and elastic ; pocket in lining under placket.
