Description

Pale and mid-blue leaf pattern silk jacquard at bodice center front and back; bodice side and sleeves of mid-blue heavy ribbed silk; neckline- square in front, V in back; collar and cuffs of cream net edged with pleated chiffon; center front closure of hooks and eyes and covered button; piping at armseyes and waist; waist sharply pointed center front and back; princess seams; 3 blue grosgrain bows with fringe streamed along center back seam; elbow length sleeves edged with pleated ruffle trimmed with net amd chiffon and aqua ribbon bows and streamers; fully lined with tan cotton twill; inner belt of cotton twill tape with hook and eye closure. Skirt- Body of ribbed silk; self waistband with hook and eye center back; smooth front, pleat at each side; cartridge pleated center back; pleated ruffle attached to front hem; back of skirt extends into train with scalloped hem; hem faced all-around with glazed blue linen trimmed with lace-edged crinoline pleated ruffle; 2 criss-crossing swags across front, one of ribbed silk, the other of jacquard, both trimmed with silk bobble fringe; 2 bows at right; jacquard panel in back buttons onto waistband; faced with gold silk extending into bending on scalloped edge of panel; extending into pointed train; twill pocket at right; cotton tape ties inside back of skirt.
