Description

Veneer box has a string of mother-of-pearl inlay around the front side and top. Corners of inlay are circular discs. Center of hinged lid has a rectangular inlay with indented corners. The front has a corresponding inlay, the center inlay has a keyhole. Inside of the box, it is covered in bright aqua-blue paper. The sides of the bottom have shelf rests without a shelf. The inner side of the lid is an accordian like flap, held closed by a pointed escutcheon. The bottom of the box is covered in green burlap.
