Label "Waiting for a Gallery" Mrs. Richard Derby purchased these two pieces of glass along with a number of other items for her brother-in-law in 1802. She then wrote home from London "Ithink everything is very reasonable but the glass..." and hoped once it had arrived she would not be "accused of extravagance."
