Description

Blush/ beige silk brocaded wedding gown with floral sprays in plum and pink, with background of monochromatic floral trails. Bodice (a) has broad, square neckline; 3/4 length sleeves with double ruffle with cotton lining (stiffened); fitted waisted, curved in front, pointed and boned center back; neckline, waist, cuffs, palcket and cuffs trimmed with passementerie of cream silk serpentine cord with knots of fringe of plum and cream silk; lined with white linen; sleeves lined with glazed cotton; hook and eye closure at center front. Underskirt (b)-- matching skirt; V-shaped waist with box pleats at front and panel added at back for fullness; additional panel ruched and trimmed with 3 rows of same passementrie as above. Overskirt (c)-- matching skirt; trimmed along open front with same passementerie; slight train; open at front to reveal underskirt.
