Rectangular unpainted six-board box with a hinged lid. Dovetailed sides, nailed to the bottom board. Applied interior molding to support a (missing) tray. Brass hinges. Oval brass escutcheon. Steel lock (missing) and clasp. Wrought iron hinged latch and hook applied at a later date to the exterior.
