Description

Dress made from cream-colored cotton woven with narrow & wide gauze stripes; wide stripes embroidered with tambour work in scrolling motifs, each with an oval center with extending tendrils. Adjustable neckline and waist with drawstring, empire-style high waist set just below bustline with a narrow waistband. Skirt set into waistband with added fullness of box pleats at center back. Sleeves gathered and set into armscyes, cuff closure with drawstring. Plain hem.
