Description

A=Bodice; B=Skirt. Pale pink satin ground with floral sprays in cream and rose. A=Bodice - drawstring neckline with tulle ruffle (with drawstring); trimmed with pale pink satin band with tucks; same satin trim; sleeveless armscye. Pale pink satin bow at shoulders; sharp point at front; squared extended back; piped waist; boned; darts. Lined with cream silk twill; handstitched eyes at center back with silk cord for laced closure; pouf or ruched rosette at lower back. Woven waistband with hook and eye. B=Skirt - front of skirt is pale pink satin with draped and knotted band at hip; box pleats at hem; back, train, and waistband of same floral lampas as bodice. Pleats and box pleats at back; lining of brown taffeta has four casings which had elastic (elastic now missing) for gathering/bustle at back. Train lined with cambric; dust ruffle of buckram is pleated and trimmed with lace.
