Pewter gray irridescent taffeta dress [.1] with matching cape [.2]; Dress has round, piped neckline trimmed with white tape lace; Nine covered buttons center front (two missing) with snap at top and hook and eye at bottom of placket; boned darts in front; princess seams in back; long sleeves, piped armscye, pleated ruffle at shoulder and wrist; white silk lace ruffle at cuff; Bodice lined with tan cotton twill; Skirt has piped waistband, two pleats on front; pocket at right side; cartridge pleating in back; slight train; hem bound with wool tape; Bodice sleeves and skirt lined with brown glazed linen; Matching cape (.2) has narrow band collar with silk cord ties; pleated trim around edges.
