Black taffeta; small pointed collar; 3/4 length sleeves w/ turned back cuff; diamond gusset at armscye; front pleats at waist. 2 side waist belt loops (belt missing); front closure from neck to below waist; covered buttons & loops from collar tip to below waist. 3 hook & eyes at waist; buckram lining around neckline & down both center fronts as well as at skirt; buckram edged w/ blue grosgrain ribbon at hem.
