Description

Black silk taffeta; collar - unfinished - is covered by velvet band of lace jabot (C) which also fills in low squared neckline; fitted elbow length sleeves with velvet rosette; boned bodice is pointed in front and back; lined with white herringbone cambric; cotton twill waistband with hook and eye; eleven self covered buttons; Skirt (B) - matching skirt; has bustle pad attached; fullness draped up at back; row of black ribbons at left side; pleated "overskirt" panel reveals underskirt with pleated ruffle; two elastic bands to hold skirt fullness at back; white dust ruffle trimmed with lace; steel boning across skirt at back.
