Blue taffeta, heavyweight; Bodice (A) lace collar, cuffs and jabot; squared decolletage; fitted elbow length sleeves; pointed waist front and back; princess seams at back; double blue velvet bow at front waist (left); 11 self-covered buttons; boned; lined with white silk twill; piping at waist; sleeves gathered at shoulder; Bustle Skirt (B): pleated overskirt panel draped and puffed at sides; row of velvet bows at left side, box pleats at back; long train; underskirt has pleated and ruched hem; pocket on right side (hairpin); horse hair bustle pad attached; 2 boned bars with elastic tie; beige silk ribbon ties at sides of bustle; hook and eye closure at back; pleated buckram dust ruffle with lace trim. Textile Fragment (C) - piece of dress fabric; Jabot (D) - lace jabot with blue velvet collar with hook and eye.
