Medium blue silk moired taffeta; standing band collar of cream chiffon with chiffon ruching. chiffon insert at neckline, with lace jabot; wide pointed lapels with three blue velvet bands and lace ruffle; pleated blouson front; leg of mutton sleeves with side slits, velvet and lace trim at cuffs; bodice lined with blue taffeta; hook and eye at center front, collar and left side of skirt; attached skirt has smooth front; box pleats at back; three bands of blue velvet around hem (varying widths); pocket at back; lined with blue taffeta; taffeta dust ruffle with pinked and scalloped hem; one band of elastic attached inside lower skirt to hold fullness.
