Description

Blue/purple silk taffeta; Bodice (A) - high neckline; square yoke (front and back) trimmed with self-ruffle and piping; self piping also at neck, armscye and waist; long sleeves with self-ruffle band cuff; sharply pointed waist (front and back); 13 self covered buttons; boned; lined with white linen, sleeves lined with cambric; cuffs lined with white china silk pleated band; Skirt (B) - matching skirt - waistband lined with white cotton twill tape; smooth front, pleats at sides with cartridge pleats at center back; hook and eye closure at left front; 3 self-ruffles at hem, with part of one "draped" at right side; train; hem lined with black buckram; hem bound with purple wool tape. Pocket.
