Description

Changeable blue/green silk taffeta; woven with allover pattern of small rosebuds; Bodice - broad neckline trimmed with lace, and elastic band; V-shaped yoke trimmed with blue ribbon along shoulders and center lattice pattern (of same ribbon); yoke edged with beige and blue silk fringe; pointed at front and back; boned; lined with cotton; cap sleeves trimmed with lace; skirt - cartridge pleats all around; back lace closure (with original blue silk cord); fully lined with white cambric; pocket at right front; hem lined with blue silk; blue ribbon with rosette at center back. Bodice was padded at one time - padding removed.
