Description

Fine white (discolored) cotton with woven zig-zag stripes; printed with floral trails in pink, purple, yellow with green leaves. Bodice (A) - high boned neck and yoke inserted with bands of lace and tucks; yoke trimmed with self-ruching and lace trimmed ruffle; blouson front; long sleeves have self-ruffle (engageante style) at elbow, with fitted section (of bands of lace alternating with tucked floral bands) extending to wrist; two buttons and loops at each wrist; boned; lined with cream taffeta; hook and eye closure center front covered by rosette and fabric draped along center front. Skirt (B) - matching skirt; three flounces trimmed with lace; self dust ruffle; slight train; fullness at back along hook and eye.
