Description

Pink, black, beige iridescent plaid silk; high neckline; self-piping at neck and armscye; plaid epaulets with two bands of pink taffeta ruching with black velvet ribbon at center; epaulets extend to waist with lapets at front and back - trimmed with pink and black fringe. Long sleeves (slightly bell shaped) trimmed with bands of pink ruching and black velvet ribbon; bodice is boned and lined with brown cambric; sleeves lined with white silk with pleated silk band at cuff; eleven pink silk covered buttons at center front; hook and eye and tab closure inside at waist; overlapping hook and eye closure at natural waistline; skirt pleated all around with large box pleats at back; skirt fully lined with brown cambric; hem bound with beige wool tape; small coin pocket hidden at seam of center front closure, left side.
