Description

Parasol (A) of black Chantilly lace over two layers of ivory taffeta with scalloped edges; ivory folding shaft, handle and tip; handle carved with cherubs and flowers; knob at tip carved with flowers; metal hardware; black silk cord and tassel around knob. Box (B) is hinged, covered in dark red leather; padded interior lined with bright blue satin; supports for handle; brass latches turned by knobs.
