Description

Large, footed porcelain bowl painted with underglaze blue foliage and rockwork bluish-clear glaze. Overglaze iron reds and gilding forming scene of peacocks (?) in Kakiemon style rockwork, sprigs pf blossoms (prunes), peonies, and bridge in background. Interior rim of bowl decorated with lattice bands interupted with blossoms in reserves at quarter intervals. Rim of bowl glazed light brown.
