Under the left side of the print is written: ""Diocletien s etant un peucalme la fit jeter en prison, mais deux Anges vinrent l'y visiter, la guerirent de ses blessures, et sa beaute reprit une fraicheur nouvello, ce qu'ayant appris, l'Empereur plein de rage la con damna a etre percee de fleches, mais au lieu de la toucher, les traits retournerent sur les archers plusieurs furent tues, d'autres se conventirent et le peuple etrait dans l'admiration.""
