Transfer printed in medium blue w/ a scene of pagoda-like building, bizarre trees and bushes and a camel w/ people in the foreground. This scene is enclosed by a pale blue border w/ delicate flowering vines and 8 floral-edged reserves w/ floral sprays or buildings and greenery. The scenes vary w/ form of serving item. This item is a luncheon plate. Circular form w/ shaped edge on slanting rim, shallow cavetto, and flat face. Gilt band at edge.

""W.R."" is inscribed underneath ""ORIENTAL"". ""RIDGWAYS"" is above the image and ""ENGLAND"" is below the image. Incised: Each piece incised w/ 2 or 3 numbers or letters. This particular piece is inscribed w/ ""1"", ""5"", ""4"" and printed w/ ""12"".
