Blue and white pinstripe (stripes run horizontally), with blue chine squares overlaid; broad neckline trimmed with lace; capped sleeves with lace under sleeves; V-shaped front with lattice pattern of blue rick-rack and blue and beige silk fringe; peplum; ten blue covered buttons; bones and padded at bust; cotton lining; skirt has cotton waistband with two hooks and eyes; cartridge pleats all around; one pocket; skirt has been shortened at waist; one tuck near hem; skirt is unlined.
