White; high waisted bodice with embroidered "V" panel with looped net-like pattern--same at double capped sleeves and hem; scalloped eyelet at neckline, sleeves, bodice and hem; narrow tucks at hem; drawstring neckline and waistband.

Handwritten note originally found loose in folds of dress: ""These two baby dresses were made by either Mrs. Wm. Parsons Lunt (Ellen Hobart Hedge) or else her sister Mrs. Chandler Robbins (Eunice Hedge) daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Barnabas Hedge of Leyden St., Plymouth, Mass. also the top of another dress. Made about 1830 to 1840.""
