Description

Large, open green fields next to a body of water (ocean?). Cluster of trees and a narrow path in field. Large house and outbuildings near water. Fair details of house. Predominantly green and blue. Note on back: "The middle building of this house is the old Howland House at Nonquitt, Massachusetts. The date of the deed of the land is so early the deed itself is in London, England. It belonged to the ancestors and estate of Mrs. Hetty Green and now is her sons'. The addition, this end and higher, is much later. This sketch was made in 1903 when the land was not cut up anyway."
