Interior photograph of the dormitory sitting room of Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt and William Fitz Hugh Whitehouse, Jr. at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. They graduated in 1899. Vanderbilt died when a German U-boat sank the ocean liner RMS Lusitania on May 7, 1915.
