The daunting task of cataloguing the contents of The Grange, architect and decorator Ogden Codman, Jr.'s, family home in Lincoln, Mass., proved to be bountiful. When the Grange was acquired by SPNEA as a bequest from Dorothy S.F.M. Codman, 1,700 architectural drawings dating from 1883 to 1919 were found in the stable loft, presenting a remarkable view of Codman's skill as well as a detailed look at his architecture and interiors.
