The appearance of the interior of the Codman House today suggests a house that's been lived in for generations. The heirlooms and objects that have been accumulated, as well as the obvious changes made to the architecture creates the feel of an ancestral home. But this character did not evolve - it was created primarily by Ogden Codman Jr. and Sr., who were part of the last two generations to occupy the house.
