Description

During the winter months in small fishing villages of the nineteenth and early twentieth century, many a fishhouse and kitchen saw its occupants engaged in miniature shipbuilding. In the spring, these ships would be sailed by their builders, to the delight of the town. Dohn A. Cluff takes a look at these small wonders.
