Description

The Babcock-Denham Family Photographic Collection is comprised of several thousand photographs, ranging from cartes-de-visite to snapshots, documenting the various generations of a family associated with Westborough, Massachusetts. In addition to portraits, it includes some views of streets, interiors, and resorts in New England visited by the family.

The items in the collection have been identified with respect to individuals portrayed, localities, and photographers' names. Many small photographic firms in the area west of Boston are represented.

The genealogical information compiled by the donor accompanies the collection.
