RULES FOR PLAYING THE GAME OF / OVER THE FENCE / PARKER BROS., Inc., Salem, Mass., New York and London / FOR TWO, THREE OR FOUR PLAYERS / Place the Fence in position in the slotted blocks. / 1. Each player is provided with a set of counters, consisting of one large and / four small counters of the same color. / 2. The idea of the game is by pressing the small counters with the large / one to make them jump the fence onto the numbered field beyond. / 3. Play in turn from the Felt starting square, each player snapping one / counter at a time. / 4. All counters landing of the Felt side of the Fence or out of the Box, are out / of the game, only those being counted that land faily in the Field beyond / the Fence. / 5. After all have played the score is taken the player making the highest / count WINS THE GAME. / 6. Each piece is counted for as many points as shown by the figure in which / space it rests. A piece resting on a line counts as One Point. / Illustrated Catalogue mailed on receipt of two cents in stamps. (On the back of the cover)
