Description

This exterior view of a curved commercial block at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Boylston Streets is viewed from the opposite corner. There are a number of stores and businesses that occupy the building such as Tupper Photographer and J. W.Wyeth & Co. Grocers. A glassed in area on the third floor may be part of Tupper's studio. The 1913 Cambridge City Directory lists the Tupper Studio at 1388 Massachusetts Avenue, at the intersection of Boylston Street. H. William Tupper (also listed in sources as William H. Tupper) was a photographer and photographic studio manager. The 1913 Cambridge City Directory lists Mrs. Adelaide M. Tupper and Mabel L. Tupper for the studio.
