Castle in background. Foliage and rocks surround it. In foreground is a body of water with two figures at the right. Worked up to sky in silk floss in a variety of stitches. Sky is watercolor painted on the white silk background fabric. Glass has a reverse painted (eglomise) mat in black and gold with an inscription (see Inscription field). Original gilded wood framed with beaded edge.
