Description

This folder contains five letters, including one sent by Martha Osgood to her sister Rebecca Usher which describes the house of James and Annie Fields at 148 Charles Street, its furnishings, and the luncheon Osgood enjoyed there. Also included is a letter to Annie Fields from Charles Eliot Norton in which he discusses a slanderous attack on James Russell Lowell following his death.
